New Dinner with the Band Internet TV Show Episodes Featuring Pigeon John

AUSTIN, Texas (BusinessWire EON) August 27, 2007 -- A perfect mash-up of indie music and edgy food, Dinner with the Band gives fans a personal, first-hand look into the lives of some of the industry's hippest indie bands. In this free Internet TV show, host and rock star chef Sam Mason grills steak burgers from scratch, accompanied by French fries and spiked chocolate milkshakes, as he interviews Pigeon John about his early days performing at the legendary Good Life Cafe, life on the road, and his newest album.

After Mason grinds beef cuts and seasons the meat with coriander, cumin, paprika, salt and horseradish, the band makes their own patties for grilling. Mason blends a frothy chocolate milkshake spiked with spice rum to enjoy with the burgers and French fries, which inspire a Pigeon John impromptu freestyle melody "Gettin' out the fries."

The latest episodes of the show feature Pigeon John displaying his showmanship and boundless energy with a distinctive delivery that blends rap with melody. Backed by his live band - drummer Peter Daily and keyboardist Peter Hong - he performs "Welcome to the Show," "Weight of the World," and "Money-Back Guarantee."
