Don't worry the what in the title " Internet Marketing, Waht?" was spelled wrong intentionally. Many people who plan to make money online have no clue what internet marketing is. Learning to market your business or product is a fundamental skill you must have if you wish to make money. It really doesn't matter whether you are trying to market your business online or offline, either way you must learn to market. Every business, product, or even celebrity has to market whatever they are selling and so should you.

Before you begin to market your business or product, there are a couple of questions you must ask yourself. First, what is your marketing budget? How much can you afford to spend marketing your business or product? In business nothing is free, you must pay the price. So if you are low on money you will have to take the time to market your business. If you have the money you can hire a company to market for you and use your free time to focus on other aspects of your business.

Next find your target market. Who are you going to sell to? What kind of people would be most interested in your product? Is there even a consumer interest in your product? These are all important questions to ask yourself before beginning to sell your product.

Now it is time to market your business. The key to any kind of marketing is getting exposure. There are really no wrong or right ways to market, as long as you achieve your desired result. The only exception would be hurting your or your businesses reputation. For example if you are selling Christian books, it would not make any sense to pass out flayers with girls in bikinis on them. Use common sense and you should be fine. At the sometime do not be afraid to try new and daring marketing methods. What will make you stand out from the competition? Once you differentiate yourself from the competition your sales will increase. Always be sure to change your marketing angles up, people tend to get bored with the something very easily. Learn how to market and you will no longer have to say "Internet Marketing, Waht?"
